This programme is designed to strengthen managers’ ability to analyse complex business problems, evaluate available information and make effective decisions. It covers the full problem-solving process, from identifying the underlying issue and gathering relevant information through to analysing causes, evaluating options, assessing risks, implementing solutions and reviewing outcomes. Participants work through realistic business cases involving missed targets, declining team efficiency, resource constraints, changing customer requirements and operational problems. The programme places particular emphasis on decision-making when information is incomplete, time is limited or different stakeholder priorities need to be balanced. Participants learn how to break complex issues into manageable components, distinguish symptoms from root causes and develop practical solutions based on evidence. Workplace application allows participants to select a genuine business challenge and apply the problem-solving framework to develop an actionable improvement plan. The result is stronger analytical thinking, more structured decision-making and greater confidence in dealing with complex management and operational challenges.
